Saskatchewan Documented Canoe Routes

More than 50 documented Saskatchewan canoe routes have been researched, recorded and compiled into a series of booklets. These booklets are available here in their entirety, provided by Saskatchewan Environment. You may print any of the routes for your own use, but they may not be sold.

The actual booklets can be obtained from the visitor information centre in La Ronge, Central Survey and Mapping in Regina, and Environment and Resource Management offices throughout the north.

Each route is presented in detail, with start and end points, number of portages, length of trip, and features to note along the way.

Water levels and canoeing conditions on many Saskatchewan rivers and lakes vary from time to time, causing changes in the appearance of the various landmarks described in the Saskatchewan Documented Canoe Routes, as well as causing hazards not described herein. It is the canoeist's responsibility to proceed with caution and alertness, using discretion and good judgement at all times. The information provided on this site is intended to be of general assistance only, and the Government of Saskatchewan and Rebecca Kennel Consulting assumes no responsibility for its use.
